Season three of The Mandalorian premiers March 1st on Disney Plus and the full trailer premiered during halftime of Monday Night Football and dropped online shortly thereafter. Looks like Mando’s universe, or at least this particular show’s scope within the Star Wars universe, just got a whole lot bigger.
No official Spoiler Warning, as trailers are, by definition, spoilers. However, if you haven’t seen all of the first season of The Book of Boba Fett and still plan to watch it, you should do so before watching this trailer, starting season 3 of Mando or reading below this.
The narration is Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) talking, presumably, to Grogu and teaching him how to be a Mandalorian. Part of that is knowing how to navigate the galaxy and in the trailer we get Coruscant (for the first time in the New Republic Era) as well as new worlds and some familiar ones like Nevarro.
Plus Mandalore. No Bo-Katan (Katee Sackhoff) in this trailer, at least not without a helmet and talking. She was a big part of the teaser trailer, though, so she will be a presence this season.
We’re also going to get Captain Carson Teva (Paul Sun-Hyung Lee aka Appa from Kim’s Convenience), Greef Karga (Carl Weathers), Doctor Pershing (Omid Abtahi) and, for some reason, Babu Frik from The Rise of Skywalker.
